I’m Alexa: a designer who believes in the everyday magic of little things.

Design surrounds us: in print, on screens and everywhere in between. The magic lies in the beauty of witty communication and insightful storytelling. I am passionate about creating meaningful stories that spark joy and conversation.

I combine play and order to create inventive solutions. Adventure, experimentation, and collaboration are crucial to effective design, but wit and play distinguish effective from exciting. During my career as a Communications Designer at Syracuse University, I sharpened my visual and written storytelling skills in order to craft intentional designs, especially in the realms of branding, publication, and copywriting.

Following my bookworm heart through an English minor, I was able to explore creative and analytical writing to develop my communication skills. When I’m not designing, I’m busy experimenting in the kitchen, crocheting, watching horror movies, and learning a new language on Duolingo.

The world is our playground and design is our game, let’s make magic together.
