Huck: Colorado Red Wine Mountain taste with a rich history.
CHALLENGE
Each year Telluride Ski Resort partners with a Colorado vineyard to produce a specialty limited-edition wine that celebrates the fruit and terroir of the region. How do we design a label that honors the wine and the region?
APPROACH
Taking cues from Telluride Ski Resort’s design language, the label design was crafted to dramatically commemorate the iconic geography of the region, reflecting the vibrancy and depth of flavor profile of the wine.

After the final design was developed, it was brought into print production where I liaised with the manufacturer to ensure print quality. The wine was bottled and sold in Telluride, Colorado in the Spring of 2024.
LEFT IN THE CELLAR
Other solutions were crafted that responded to the client’s original request for a design that felt “traditional,” and more closely matched their selected references. Ultimately, my suggestion of amore visually dramatic approach was approved and moved into production.
