New Joiner Welcome Kits
Challenge
Create a box and card to be handed out to new Dexian employees on their first day in office. The box will house essential information for new starters, as well as a complimentary branded water bottle.
Approach
With this in mind, I set out to create a box that focused on representing bright futures: a critical messaging pillar for Dexian, encouraging employees and clients alike.
-
Packaging and Graphic Designer
Under the guidance of a creative director, I developed and executed a number of design approaches.
-
I produced a comprehensive handover of the layout for the welcome box and card, as well as two options for water bottle designs. As of March 2026, these have gone into production and are being handed out to new employees, with some modifications implemented post-handover.
360° Radiance
To match best match the messaging surrounding bright futures, the finalized approach utilizes neon to black gradients applied to create a radiant glow effect.
Responsive Messaging
When closed, the front of the box reads “in the business for,” revealing “GOOD” when lifted.
What’s Inside
The welcome box houses a card with a message from the Chief People Officer, as well as a water bottle designed for new joiners.
The sticker-style graphics on the bottle were designed to be an energetic representation of Dexian’s brand tenants. It provides a personable and stylish way for employees to represent their office.
Process Outtakes
Some alternative options were explored, but didn’t quite have the desired effect.
Ultimately, the selected solution delivers the strongest messaging, and most relevant design direction.
The Full Kit
After handover to the internal team, a few design changes were made, but the glowing gradients and general layout remained the same.
The Futures Club - Event Branding
Challenge
Dexian wanted to introduce a new event that celebrated the highest achieving new salespeople.
Approach
As a celebration for entry level employees, the goal was to encourage and represent a continued commitment to growth.
-
Graphic Designer
Working with a creative director and another designer, I developed several solutions and the final event assets.
-
I produced a set of assets to be used for The Futures Club including a logo, specialty graphic treatments, merchandise design, and an invitation layout. This went into effect in early 2026 for the first year of the event.
Process Outtakes
Earlier rounds of development saw a number of different names and logo treatments. Between the initial presentation and the final, there was development done on select alternates, explored below.
Saved for Later
After discussions with the client, we decided that while these were not the correct solutions for The Futures Club, there was still places where this work could live down the line. Some of those visuals were shared throughout the process for their use in other future marketing efforts.
